This Blog is BORING! I really need to post more often.
Lately the biggest thing has been the end of the year. Mom is really excited to be off work for the summer, and I'm excited for Yearbooks! (Isn't it so wierd that we are really excited and then all we write in each others are HAGS or KIT and it isn't really that interesting? I'm challenging you Middle Schoolers- try to personalize your signatures in some way!)
I'm kinda disapointed, though, because school is coming to a close. Call me a nerd, (I am one anyway) but I'm going to miss coming to school and having fun with my friends and all my classes. I really like school, except that little thing that comes with it- assignments. Lately, since it's near the end of the year, we've gotten a ton of final projects.
History- We listened to the song "We didn't Start the Fire" in class, and our project was to research certain years from that song and then make our own version. Making our own was pretty fun, you can see it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdVl05RACCg
Math- No big projects, but CRTs and review for next year. We have to go over a bunch of boring Algebra to get ready for Algebra 2
Tech- For Tech our final projects was to go to a bunch of websites she gave us and try out the programs to decide if they shoud be used in her curriculum next year.
Science- Our final project was called Mythbusters, which was basically choose a myth and research it. Ours was "Can Bubbles be destructive?" The answer is yes, they're called cavitation bubbles.
Spanish- This was the other big one. We had to make a book of all the grammar topics we studied this year, complete with Vocabulary appendix, Title, TofC and Introduction about ourselves. I worked hard on this, even stayed up til midnight a couple of times, but I got 104% on it.
Guitar- We had 2 Concerts, one for Parents and one for the School. It was really fun. Tomorrow is our Final Test, which is really easy. It's just showing him that we can do 3 picking patterns.
English- We had our Roots Final, our Diagramming Final, and our Richard III Final. Roots was pretty easy, Diagramming was really easy, as I've been doing it since 6th grade, and for Richard III I made a game show program and we asked questions from the play.

So it's all done now, and soon we'll be out. Boy, am I glad all of our big Projects are done. I feel relieved.

Well, this year I decided I was going to run for Student Body Officer (SBO). I wanted to do this because the current SBOs are really boring. They come on each morning for the announcements and sound like they're still asleep, they never seem to be very enthusiastic, they're just there. So I wanted to make things more exciting. I ran a campaign based on Excitement, Fun, and Student Involvement (And Chuck Norris Jokes- Big Thank you to Matt!) and tried my hardest. Speeches day I wasn't nervous at all, but when I got up on the stand I started Shaking. I always seem to do that- I'm not nervous at all, but I shake like crazy anyway. Apparently I sounded nervous and kept bumping the microphone. In the end I lost, the old SBOs were voted back in along with two other girls (since 9th grade gets 4 while the others get 2). I'm actually surprised that only girls won, since alot of people said that they were glad 2 boys were finally running. (Only Girls have ran the past two years.) Mrs. Bradfield said that this is the closest race she's seen in 8 years. All in all, it was fun. Maybe I can still give suggestions to Paige, Lexi, Lisa and Marissa. (Like Wake up in the mornings!)

Hello, Y'all! I cannot believe I haven't posted is so long. You guys need to yell at me more to post like I do to you. I mean, there's been alot of things happening lately, but I've been too lazy to talk about them. This post was actually written a week ago and I'm just posting it now. (Except for these last 3 sentances.) I was trying to think of what to talk about because my brain is dead right now from being tired, singing to loud, and doing too much homework. But I thought I'd talk about books- Whatcha Reading? Latley I've read alot- I'll start with The Key to Rondo. It's another book by Emily Rodda, author of the Deltora series, and the Rowan of Rin Series. She's one of my favorites, and this new book was really good.

I've also read the fourth book of Fablehaven, Secrets of the Dragon Sanctuary. I really like that series- anyone who enjoys fantasy would, I think. If you don't enjoy fantasy, you won't enjoy this. After that I read Pedragon Before the War Book Three of the Travelers It's a Side series to the Pedragon series (Which is really good- Book Ten comes out in May!) about the Travelers before they met the main character, Bobby Pendragon.

Then I read Slathbog's Gold Which is the First book in the Adventurers Wanted Series. I thought this was a Great book and I'm kinda annoyed that the sequal doesn't come out for a year. Then I read Farworld: Water Keep which was good, not really good but still fun. Then I read Pillage by Obert Skye, same author as Leven Thumps. And that's it for the books I've been reading lately. Hey'all! I'm back. Trying to post regularly, but can't think of much to post. I don't want to be boring. So lately, I just finished Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (best game ever) for the second time. And I've been working on a timeline for the Zelda World, because that fascinates me. And me and Matt came up with an idea for a new Zelda game called The Shadow War . For those of you who don't know, I'm a Zelda nut. I love the Legend of Zelda Games, because they are so fun. (And for other reasons that I can't seem to put into words and logical statements that would make sense to anyone but me.) Notice my blog's mouse? I thought that was pretty cool. I've got a whole set of them on my computer. (Ok, so it's not my computer. Oh well.) So I think I might use my Superplex website to post my timeline and game ideas.
I just remembered something else I can talk about- The Temple Celebration! I'm really excited for that. We get to be part of this HUGE celebration for the Draper and Oquirrh Mountain Temples. I'm part of the choir, and I've been asked to help by taking pictures of the practices for the DVD they'll make of it. As you can see (I think...) I have a Pi background. Why? Because Sturday is Pi Day! 3-14. Why celebrate Pi? Well, not only do you celebrate Pi, you celebrate Pie, too! And who doesn't like pie? Alot of kids are trying to see if they can be the one who can memorize the most digits of Pi. others are bringing Pie to class. I personally am doing the latter, as memorized a hundred random numbers doesn't appeal to me. How many digits to you know? I know 10.

Hello, all! I'm back again. I think people have stopped reading my blog... How sad! I hope I'm not boring you all. Anyway... anyone remember my iQuest? It was sorta like a palm pilot I got in 5th grade. It had a basic calculator, a dictionary, a notepad, and an address book. Well... It died! Pulled it out to look up a word, and the screen was cracked and there was LED all over the inside... luckily none spilled out. I showed a couple of people, and one said... "I'm suprised it lasted this long!" Another said "That was that thing that you would pull out when a teacher asked a question and you would look up the word and we'd all be like 'ulll' " ..... Well, at least I know my friends are honest!
